conceptual layout

From the ISTD briefs i choose to work on the fourth brief “Not just Fleurons”.
The aim of this brief is to consider plants in the broadest possible ways and develop an eye-catching and informative outcome that interprets and celebrates plants and the concept of the garden and its role in our lives.
Merging my ideas together, i reached to a final solution for this brief. Knowing that we are living in a digital world were technology invaded almost every house. I wanted to preserve the use of fleuron even on our electronic pages. Therefore, i am creating a new style for fleuron having the same function on paper as on screen.
My inspirational font was “ bodoni ornament iTC”

I divided my fleurons to different sector: Religious, casual, kids and official.
Not forgetting that the transformation is based according to an evolutionary timeline of photoshop and manipulation of the images.

Awareness Campaign

Animal rights is a serious problem found everywhere. I worked according to type and illustrations on a short awareness campaign.

Informative animation

Helvetica Neue is a swiss typeface, and Switzerland is famous by its chocolate,so I had my animation based on a melting chocolate to form the typeface’s information.

TV ident

This is a second animation for the same TV...and i posted also the storyboard draft of this animation
Working on a short animation for Vh1, I used old cloths’ textures and cardboards
for the background so the logo at the end captures the eye.

Tees Website

I had to design a website where you can buy t-shirts online. So I came up with a brand name “Unique Tees”,and designed the shirts and three colored sections for men, women, and kids.

Personal website

I used for the background a picture taken by me. As for the font, I used Helvetica Neue to give it an elegant look.

Flash animation

Here is one of my first Flash CS4 quick animations. A naughty boy throwing his cloth on the floor just to play :P

Beirut National Museum

When rebranding Beirut National Museum I also worked on improving their website and giving it the same spirit of the artistic logo.

Blog layout

I was asked to develop a blog for a certain region and I chose to work on the old city of Byblos. My emphasis was to make the whole design as old as the city.

Re-branding

The brief was about rebranding Beirut National Museum. The museum needs a serious push to reposition itself, so introducing art was my solution.

Poster

After researching a specific illustrator, I had to come up with a poster which reflects his style. Matt W. Moore was my chosen illustrator.

Logo

This was a contest to create a new modern logo for the International Association of University Presidents. The logo incorporate the four initials of the organisation and the letters were drawn based on the Bahaus typeface.

Restaurant Identity

I chose to work on a sea food restaurant, named “Pisces”. The theme was related to horoscopes. I did the logo, interior, signage, menu, placemat, and vehicle.

Lebanon Student Star Pack 2011

I choose to work on the third category for a LibanPack packaging contest that is related to the Nougat and Malban.
I specifically chose the product of DOUAIHY sweet house, because I find it rich with his variety of sweets, its nice colors, and its nice logo design.
Based on the Russian Doll idea, so the concept of my design is to have a double function of the package. The simple square box is good for the display in the store, as well as for shipping. Moreover, it can be used after buying it for serving the product in the house.

Consecutive Posters

Here are three consecutive posters about cancer awareness. You can see the morphing X into the sign of eternity and the sentences together show the sequence and follow up of the three posters.
